The other option is the gypsy ride, which can carry 6 people, and is ideal for smaller groups, or for those who are interested in a much more intimate safari experience than what the open-air bus can provide.
The timetable for going for a safari in the Ranthambhore National Park varies according to the season. The park opens to the tourists in two shifts with both the morning shift and the evening shift lasting for three and a half hour. Lesser number of hours having daylight during the winter months resulting in the park opening late during the morning trip, and closing early after the evening trip.
